The Colorado features a remote operated side underfloor lift and electric sliding door. The lowered floor gives you over 55" of interior headroom and a level surface to manoeuvre inside the vehicle. If you need a break from driving the interchangeable seating system means you can easily switch places with your passenger. Just release the passenger seat from the floor track and wheel it into the driver’s position, locking it securely back into place. Then, move your powerchair into the passenger position, secure it in the lockdown, and you’re ready to go.Â
The Ford Custom Colorado is designed to be a platform for a tailored solution for wheelchair drivers. A docking system for your powerchair to lock into for driving will be designed around your chair. Other adaptations to suit your driving requirements will be fitted to give you a vehicle designed around you. Â
