Independent access is simple and convenient thanks to the remote-operated electric sliding side door and underfloor cassette lift. Once inside, the lowered and levelled full-width floor provides plenty of space to manoeuvre, with an impressive 55.7″ (1415 mm) of interior headroom creating a comfortable and spacious driving environment.
The interchangeable front seating system gives you even more flexibility. When you want someone else to drive, the passenger seat can be moved into the driver’s position, allowing you to travel up front in your powerchair and making it easy to share driving duties.
With seating for up to four seated passengers plus one wheelchair driver, the Colorado provides plenty of flexibility for travelling with family or friends. Unlike many drive from wheelchair conversions, it also retains the rear boot compartment, giving you valuable storage space for everyday journeys and longer trips.
Based on the well-equipped Ford Tourneo Custom Titanium, the Colorado comes with a generous range of comfort and technology, including front and rear air conditioning, adaptive cruise control, heated seats, a Quickclear heated windscreen, rear-view camera and Ford touchscreen technology.

The Colorado features a remote operated side underfloor lift and electric sliding door. The lowered floor gives you over 55" of interior headroom and a level surface to manoeuvre inside the vehicle. If you need a break from driving the interchangeable seating system means you can easily switch places with your passenger. Just release the passenger seat from the floor track and wheel it into the driver’s position, locking it securely back into place. Then, move your powerchair into the passenger position, secure it in the lockdown, and you’re ready to go.
The Ford Custom Colorado is designed to be a platform for a tailored solution for wheelchair drivers. A docking system for your powerchair to lock into for driving will be designed around your chair. Other adaptations to suit your driving requirements will be fitted to give you a vehicle designed around you.
