The Citroën Spacetourer Quantum is a spacious and versatile wheelchair accessible vehicle (WAV) designed to make every journey more comfortable and inclusive. With the wheelchair passenger travelling in the second row, the Quantum keeps everyone closer together while providing a secure and comfortable travelling position.
A low-angle rear access ramp makes getting in and out straightforward. It is a lightweight bi-fold design set at a low gradient, so boarding takes minimal effort, and a generous 56″ (1440 mm) of maximum interior headroom creates a bright and spacious environment.
Flexible seating configurations allow you to tailor the Quantum around the way you travel, with seating for up to six passengers alongside the wheelchair user. Optional tip-and-fold seats in the third row provide even greater flexibility, making the Quantum a practical choice for families and larger groups. Used without a wheelchair user on board, the Quantum seats seven.
Available in Plus and Max trim levels, the Quantum offers an impressive range of comfort and technology, including cruise control, a 10″ touchscreen, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, twin sliding side doors and rear parking sensors. Max models add features including electric sliding doors, dual-zone climate control, a parking camera and leather seats.
Powered by a 2.0 BlueHDi 180 engine with eight-speed automatic transmission, the Citroën Spacetourer Quantum combines effortless driving, flexible passenger space and easy wheelchair access in one highly versatile wheelchair accessible vehicle.
Every Quantum conversion is built to EC Whole Vehicle Type Approval and is compatible with PAS 2012, the UK standard for wheelchair accessible vehicles. The wheelchair position is secured with high-quality four-point restraints as standard, and those can be upgraded to 200 kg at no cost through the Motability Scheme.

Citroën Spacetourer Quantum FAQs
Not as it leaves the factory. The standard Citroën Spacetourer is a passenger MPV, so we convert it. Our Quantum WAV conversion lowers the floor, fits a low-gradient bi-fold rear ramp and creates a secure wheelchair position in the second row with four-point restraints, giving 56″ (1440 mm) of maximum interior headroom. The finished vehicle is built to EC Whole Vehicle Type Approval and is compatible with PAS 2012.
The entrance measures 29″ (745 mm) wide by 56″ (1420 mm) high, and the travelling position measures 27″ (700 mm) wide by 55″ (1400 mm) long. The ramp is 30″ (750 mm) wide with a 350 kg safe working load, which covers most powered chairs with their user on board. If your chair is close to any of those figures, arrange a home demonstration. On the Motability Scheme the Advance Payment starts from £8,595, paid on top of your weekly allowance, which covers the lease, insurance, servicing and breakdown cover in the usual way. For private purchase prices, including the VAT position, speak to our team or request a quote. Motability customers can also choose from a long list of no-cost adaptations for their WAV, listed above.
In its standard layout the Quantum has two or three seats in the front and one seat in the rear. Adding a second rear seat and tip-and-fold seats in the third row takes it to six seats alongside the wheelchair user, or seven when it travels without a wheelchair user on board.
If you need more room, the Citroën Spacetourer Quantum XL is the longer conversion in the same family, at 5,309 mm against the Quantum’s 4,959 mm.
The extra length goes into space behind the wheelchair position for legroom and luggage rather than into more seats, so the XL is the choice for longer journeys and for carrying more with you, not for a higher seat count.
